Chest infections & how fast antibiotics work

Sorry, but following on from my other thread about chest infections/bacteria. Can those of you who were given ones that worked (rather than the ones that didn't) how fast you felt significantly better? I am on day 3 of 4th lot for Hib bacteria and don't feel like they are working.

I was told to feel a definate difference in 3 days or go back for a change, and the last lot made a big difference in that time frame
