Foreskin that doesn't retract at all, any advice please?

My Ds is nearly 6 and when we were potty training him (2.8 years) my MIL said that his willy shouldn't be bulging when he weed and that it looked to her like his foreskin was too tight.
I took him to see GP and he said that because it wasn't sore or bothering him, we should leave it and see how it was at 4 to 4 and a half.
It was exactly the same by then and when I took him back we saw the practise nurse who said she had never seen one that didn't appear to retract at all and told us it was probably ok as no redness or soreness and to see what it is like at 6 years old.
Well it's exactly the same. Do I take him back?

yes.
My DS had tight foreskin and it can cause infection. He ended up in hospital twice.
We were just told to try and retract the foreskin just a little every time he had a warm bath and gradually that worked.
But I would check it out

go to the doctor but do not try to pull it back yourself, you can ease it a little but it isn't wise to force it right back (advice from my GP when I was concerned about ds')

Thanks pagwatch, we have tried that for a couple of years but it doesn't even appear to have changed at all.
My Ds doesn't fiddle with it either so if he did, that would probably help, wouldn't it?

Go to the drs. I am sure he will be fine but get them to check - if just for your peace of mine.

( If twiddling cured it it would have been sorted really early )

Thanks Furball. I was wincing reading that I will try it though (if he will let me)

My ds had same problem and at 6 doc thought that he would probably need to be circumsized. We were given Benovate Cream to apply and low and behold within 2 weeks he could completely retract his foreskin. Ask your doc for it it worked a treat for us

My DS2 (2.8) has some problems with his. We've been gently pushing his foreskin around in the bath each night. It's moving now but they are still some problems.
