can you take meds for sinusitis when you're taking penicillin?

My Whole family has been ill and last Saturday it was my turn to trail up to the emergency docs where I was prescribed Penicillin for a throat infection.

I had the bad cold that everyone has on top of that and had been managing it fine with paracetamol and ibuprofen but it's now moved into my head and my sinuses are blocked and it's just not shifting. I had the same thing early last year where it's so painful even my teeth are aching.
I have some sudafed in the cupboard and want to take it to see if it helps but do you think it'd be ok with the penicillin?

thanks Emma, sorry I should have posted back to say that I'd phoned NHS 24 and they said it was ok. I am now feeling a little bit better and can breathe slightly more easily, thank goodness just need the pain in my teeth and cheekbone to go away now.
