And my shoulder still hurts, only at night and only when I move it at certain angles, could it be some kind of sprain that takes ages to heal, or do I need to go to the doctor?

heres what happened

You may have partially torn a ligament where it connects to the bone as this can be a common injury after a fall. You need to pop to the GP so they can look at it and rest it as much as possible. Ibuprofen should help with the pain.

Thans, I will try and go next week when the kids are back at school, I cant put much weight on my elbow either, like turning over in bed, ouch.

It might be better if you poped to A&E, they can pick up any loose bone fragments on an x-ray if they want you to have one.

I've just read your other thread. It needs an x-ray, it does sound like you have damamged a ligament but it needs examining and an x-ray so they can see whether you have ripped the ligament off your humerous. Sorry . It sounds so painful.

thats sounds horrible, but would explain why it hurts right down to the elbow, ok I promise I will go next week.

A firend of pil's had a fall down from loft and waited months then was referred by a physio for a proper assessment and needed an op.
