Pixiefish · 01/01/2009 19:59

I know 2 people who did it adn lost masses of weight BUT ddin't maintain the weight loss when they started eating

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 19:59

I tried it lost a few stone and put it all back on plus some.

It works for some people but not many that I know of in the long term.

stillenacht · 01/01/2009 20:01

I have a friend who lost 4 stone on it quite quickly but got ill and started pooing blood (sorry tmi and not entirely sure if it was related) and the minute she started eating again she put on weight - she has put on about 2 stone to my knowledge so far (she stopped in August)

hotbot · 01/01/2009 20:07

oh dear.... so its not the magic charm for you guys?

The counselling was quite useless tbh so once I started to eat normally I was on a slippery slope.

stillenacht · 01/01/2009 20:25

how are you twinset?

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 20:49

Good thanks, had a great break,

stillenacht · 01/01/2009 20:54

great - am glad you had a good xmas xx

spongebrainbigpants · 01/01/2009 21:00

hotbot, I think it's great - lost 6 stone on it nearly four years ago and only put it back when during a stressful pg last year. Now back on it and have lost 3 stone, 2 to go!

I can't do it any other way and it works for me.

Good luck!

hotbot · 02/01/2009 12:36

ohhh, am edging towards the positive now....
thanks spongebrain. stillenacht thanks for that
