My legs are so itchy!! Any top tips?

I always get itchy legs in the winter. I know it's dry skin begin irritated by the central heating, but this year they are driving me distracted..... I have scratched them until they bleed and now the scabs keep opening up. Sorry - yuck.

I've been slapping on some organic moisturiser that dh got me, but does anyone else who suffers from this know more about it, or know a product that really works?

i use an antihistamine cream to help break that itch/scrath cycle.

Aveeno is pretty good.

Cod used to recommend an expensive oil - think it was called "This Works" or something but I've never tried it as too expensive.
