Out of interest what does the following mean on a blood test request?

U&E
LFT
FBC
Glucose
B12
Foric Acid

Do recognise some from Holby City but not sure what they mean.

thanks x

Sounds like a full blood count. Definitely checking your red/white blood cell count.

LFT is liver. I had to have one when I got itches when I was pregnant.

IME they tend to do everything when they get the chance. Had some done to test for early meno back in Sept and they did the lot!
