I think I have pulled a muscle, is there anything I can do?

I have a pain on my right side, just at the lower end of the ribcage, it's very tender if I touch it and hurts when I cough or move or, well, anything...

started yesterday, I don't think it si something dodgy, just a physical injury. Probably. But is it just a case of waiting for it to go by itself?

I can't think how I have done it either.

Please nobody say 'that is your liver and it means you're about to kark it'

Thankyou

Is it a wii related injury?

Flihgtattendant · 29/12/2008 10:10

Ha!

Have you experience?

No, we haven't got a wii. I have never understood all the fuss, I think it is a big con

Isn't that where your appendix is? Sorry!

But if it is a muscle sprain, you should see a doctor because sometimes some physio is a good idea to prevent scar tissue forming.

mysterymoniker · 29/12/2008 10:11

it's not a con, it's a fun way to injure yourself

Flihgtattendant · 29/12/2008 10:17

Lol!

Thankyou. I wonder if it is from coughing actually.

is there a coughing game on the wii? Or is it just, you know, everything else...washing up games
cleaning the toilet games

i think I have found a gap in the market..

Actually i think it is too high for appendix. It is where the liver is apparently. but I don't drink so either a muscle thing of maybe gall bladder?? Eeek what's one of those.

Okay, this is embarrassing - I had my gallbladder removed after lots of problems... but can't actually remember where the specific gall bladder pain is! haha. I guess that's a good thing. But if it was gall bladder, I think the pain would be a) more intense and b) more spread out.

ah thankyou.

Yes I feel I would be experiencing some kind of throb, if it were inflamed, perhaps...it is only when it is provoked, which is why i suspect muscular trouble.
