Feel like I have something in my eye, but I don't.

My eye feels like it has an eyelash in it and has done all day, I had one that looked like it was growing downwards but pulled it out (less painful than it sounds!) but its still very uncomfy.

Any ideas?

Yep, sounds like you've scratched the cornea. Go to bed to give it a rest!

Stop peering at your computer screen!!

I had this for a while and the optician gave me some eye drops to sort it out.

I had this last night and it was driving me mad. Woke up this morning and couldn't open my eyes because of bloody conjunctivitis!

I expect you will have this tomorrow too!

Forever optimistic (lol at the name) you took the words right out of my mouth!

A foreign body sensation with no foreign body could be conjunctivitis. If you still have it tomorrow visit an optometrist.

I appear to have a teeny spot on the side of my upper eyelid which is causing it and a stye on my lower lid most annoying.

I get the foreign body/gravel sensation with hayfever. It is solved by taking an antihistamine.

I actually have it today, so it's not necessarily a springtime thing.
