Vomiting bug in pregnancy - risk to baby?

Me, DH and the youngest DD have woken up today with the winter vomiting bug. Merry effing Christmas. Anyway, to top it all off nicely I am 31 wks pg. Anyone know if there is a risk to the baby? Would you call the midwife?

maybe give the unit a ring. dont think there is aa massive risk though very small poss of bringing on labour? poor you that sucks. keep hydrated as far as possible.

I called the midwife just to put my mind at rest when I had it recently. Would just have worried myself stupid otherwise. They said it wasn't, was only 15 weeks though.

What a nightmare day! DD1 was sick on Sat, so I thought we'd got away without catching it. No such luck.

If anyone's in a similar boat (I hope not), the lady I just spoke to on the labour ward said the only risk to the baby is if I become dehydrated, which could cause the uterus to start contracting. So she's told me to drink and eat if it makes me ill...

Believe me, it's no fun trying to give a 4 yr old a decent Christmas, while myself and DH are so ill we just want to go to bed and DD2 keeps voming into a bucket intermittently (before singing a few refrains of Jingle Bells and carrying on playing - WTF?).

i got a vomiting bug when i was about 35 weeks pg and lost 10lb over 2 weeks . I had only put on 20lb so that was a lot. They took me in for a scan as i had got dehydrated and baby was bouncing. The MW said that babies are parasites and they will be fine - its just you who feels terrible

baby was born at 40+17 and 8lb9oz. so neither early nor small

i had the bug while i was 36 weeks pg,i was taken in as i was dehydrated and had all sorts in my urine

i felt awful and its no fun being sick with such a big baby moving around inside you ,i felt like i was going to vomit the baby out
