She had tummy pains & threw up everywhere.....several times

Poor Poppet

When she complained of tummy pains she was given Hot chocolate......which tbh wouldn't be my first choice.

Now I am up with her for a bit, then when DH wakes up he will take over & I will go back to bed - we had our works do last night & I am exhausted

DD will be on water for 12 hrs then digestive biscuits/dry toast for a further 6 before real food

I guess it will go round the whole house

Party this morning at dancing has been cancelled

oh poor thing What were they thinking of - hot choc?
Was it at their house that she threw up several times?

blametheparents · 20/12/2008 08:25

Oh dear poor thing. I guess the Mum just did what she thought was best, and she did look after your poorly DD for the whole night and not call you.
How many at the sleepover? i hope they all recover before Xmas.

KatyMac · 20/12/2008 08:28

Yes she threw up at the other house she was up & ill for about 20-30 mins before they called me

I have been back an hour or so

3 in their family plus DD

I feel so sorry for them both (families DD & mine) as they had both been looking forward to it

I think initially "tummy pain" can be seen as possibly over-tiredness or hunger, hence the hot chocolate.

KatyMac · 20/12/2008 08:52

I guess

Poor sausage is sleeping with the cat on her all curled up on the sofa

She has been poorly all day....missed a party and an open air Nativity (at a wildlife park)

I hope she is better for tomorrow

Oh dear- is your dd any better?,is that her on your profile? shes a beautiful child.

KatyMac · 20/12/2008 19:49

Thank you - she is a pretty little thing (Thank goodness she inherited DH's looks and my brain )

DD is asleep on DH's knee - she had nothing to eat until about 2:45 - a plain biscuit (much against my better judgement), then she threw up again. But you can't reason with an 11 yo
