TMI alert: Symptoms: Very sore cough, thick green phlegm, blocked nose, temp, feel rough - in bed all day.
My son (2.5 yrs) had the shivers the other night - and now has sort of conjunctivitus-type thing on his eye (big dark circles/very slightly sticky).
I have had a very mild sore throat for about 2 weeks.
Should I go to the Dr? Should I also take my son?

Yes and yes. They might give you the "it's just a virus, you neurotic woman" speech, but equally might decide you need ABs. Better safe, etc.

After just discovering my ds2 has had glandular fever and has had the after effects for at least 5 years I dont care if its a virus and theres nothing they can do better to go and be told than to leave it and get worse [guilty mummy emoticon]
