hes a window cleaner. He caught pneumonia after having a cough and was working outside in the freezing cold rain (Feb).

How long should he give this cough before he rings the docs?? (he is extra careful now)

i say a week???

Depends on the cough. Is he coughing so much that he turns red and cant catch his breath or just a little annoying tickle?
I have had a reoccurent cough since having pneumona 3 years ago. Have developed adult asthma as a result. I live on my puffers (or inhalers as they are also known). Go see the GP sooner then later. Nothing worse then coughing for 3 years straight.
