Mirena - fuzzy head / anxiety?

Does anyone else have a fuzzy head / buzzy body with a Mirena? I've had a Mirena for 18 months after baby born and have had fuzzy/foggy head for several months - not forgetful, just literally a physical fuzziness. I do have big mood swings with it too, but otherwise have been happy, but not prepared to carry on like this. Also have moments of panic/anxiety which not at all my personality. I've made the decision to have it taken out but would appreciate any other experiences. Big thanks.

Not had the problems that you describe but do have terrible acne. Any sign of that with you?

Hi I have had mirena coil fitted in June of this year as my periods were heavy with clots and was advised the coil would help to make it lighter,it worked BUT it caused a weight gain which I do not need!!! After reading the messages about people experiencing problems with the coil and depression which I also have ,my husband said I have become moody since having the coil so this has made my mind up to get my coil removed.......PLease anyone tell me when I get my coil removed ,will i lose the weight and get back to the way I was before ?

Hi, thanks for your replies. No, I've not had acne, heavy bleeding or weight gain etc that others report - just this fuzzy head and mood swings and trying to figure out if it could be something else.

I had this feeling when I had it fitted along with a long list of symptoms. They all went except for the weight gain. Working on that myself but the half bottle of wine and large toberlone I ate last night when the kids went to bed sure aren't going to help!

I meant to say that they all went when I had coil removed. I felt a huge sense of relief. Somehow, I felt as if there was something inside me that HAD to be taken out and I went to bed every night feeling panicked.
