how long for vaccination site reaction to stop being red?

Ds had inj for flu on monday pm, still has a red area approx 8cm in diameter on thigh.... he has never had a reaction like this before so erm just wondering. Not hot or particularily painful so am sure nothing to worry about.... just curious.

I would think this will slowly disperse in a few( 3-4) days.He has reacted slightly to something in it.
If area increases or becomes hot or painful,get it looked at,otherwise leave it and just watch.
