Aching shoulder - is it the childrens fault?

I have a really sore left shoulder - pain between my neck and shoulder blade. Could it be because I carry DS frequently on the opposite hip? Or do I need more massages [ahhhh, please say yes!]? Or is it something else entirely?
All wisdom gratefully received!

how old/ heavy is your DS?

I have a 15 month not-quite-walker who I carry on my hip and I have shoulder, elbow and wrist pain and numbness (carpal tunnel symptoms)

I am putting it all down to carrying and hoping she learns to trot very soon!

altho yours is on oppostie side I would bet it is the same problem. could you try swapping hips (I know it feels v weird)?

more massages definitely in order too tho'!
