Vitamins, B12, and get checked for post-natal hypothyroidism.

Oooooo thants jabber. Does hypothyroidism run in families?

I'm not sure how much of a hereditary factor there is but it is definitely a risk after childbirth. I've had it since way before kids and had zero energy before it was diagnosed. Now I take a thyroid supplement every day.
