Mirena coil and hairy - itis

I nearly name changed for this but couldnt be bothered. I seem to be increasingly hairy at the mo - positively stubbly on chin and neck. Am plucking obsessively but ick. Is this just advancing age (am 36) or could it be the coil. Had it about 6 months now, generally ok with it and now have no perios at all which is fab as have had endremetreosis (sp) and bad time with af for years. Any similar experiences?

It is one of the possible side effects of the mirena. I did quite a bit of research on it when I was being persuaded to try one by fpc. I wanted to be sterilised, they wanted me to try a mirena first. I didn't have one because I get migraines but did read up on the side effects and hair loss/growth was mentioned so it is possible this is the case with you.
