URGENT....HELP

I NEED YOU GUYS TO GET BACK TO ME ASAP....MY DD1 OF 5 YEARS HAS BEEN POORLY TODAY, FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS, AT 3.30PM I TOOK HER TEMP AND IT WAS 36, JUST DONE IT AGAIN AND ITS 40...COULD BE NORE BUT STRIP ONLY GOES UP TO 40.....WHAT DO I DO?

hi all...thanks so much for all your support, well i called nhs direct and was on hold for 45 minutes.........helpfull NOT!
put phone down in the end and called on call gp who advised us to go to a & e, waited at hospital for 2hours before dd was even lokked at.....great nhs.

when she was seen the doc was great and would not let her go untill her temp was down...waited and waited, they carried out a number of tests and it seems that she has this flu bug and kidney infection,glands are up and bad throat.

doc did say she is very poorly, got home at 3am and was up at 6am with dd2....who will probably get flu bug....bless.

dd2 in bed and will leave her there, again thanks sooooooooo much.

Poor thing. I hope she starts to mprove soon.

Oh the poor thing, I hope she gets better soon and you get some sleep tonight. You night makes my sleep deprivation look like a walk in the park (and that takes some doing!) I'm glad a doctor's seen her too.

any sleep dep gets my sympathy, you get your head down when you can, i know its easier said than done.

THANKYOU SO MUCH EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED TO MY THREAD SO QUICKLY.....MAYBE YOU GUYS SHOULD WORK FOR NHS DIRECT OR NHS!!!!
