TMI - bottoms post children

Boobalina · 18/11/2008 16:48

I have had 2 kids - DS is 4 and DD is 1. DS - I laboured for about 50 hours and got to 8cm before an EMCS - He was 8lb 9oz.

DD was to be an elective, she had other ideas, got to 2cm and had EMCS. She was 7lb 9oz

So no Vaginal delivery here.

I had pretty unslightly piles with both kids, and since (TMI starts now)although I dont have piles, the (searches for word that doesnt sound revolting) little dangly bits of skin coming out of bumhole (cringe) never shrank or went back in.

Also, It seems that if I do a poop - all is fine, no need to rush to loo or anything, but it seems to take ages to wipe my bum. Now I know that sounds really odd, but it seems to be wipe, check, better wipe again, check, and repeat. Then a few hours later, wiping front to back after a wee - there is still a poo smear there?

Is my bum broken?

It isn't doing much for mine either expat. Am steeling myself to go and see the doctor about it and getting something stronger

Oh god, you ladies are wonderful. I would never have thought to post on such a subject, but now realise I'm not alone in my post birth x2 bottom ugliness. I kiss you all!

Yes, they sound like skin tags. Mine are huge and uncomfortable and I saw a bottom doctor about them (after the indignity of a highly medicalised birth I'm no longer shy). He also said that they couldn't be removed as that might lead to continence problems.

So it's moist loo paper in this house too.

THanks for coming back to me - so glad I am not alone in the broken bum way.

x

For the ladies who said that moist toilet wipes made them sore, was it an absolute BURNING around the bits?
