tooth out and gland won't go down

Has anyone had a tooth out and the gland underneath still been up?
I had a tooth out in May, i had an infection and they couldn't save it nad since then the gland underneath is still up and bit tender. It goes up and down but generally still there.
I hate doctors and health anxiety so please don't freak me out!

Do you want to get better or not?

See someone. Your dentist can prescribe some kind of penicillin/antibiotic I think.

Use lots of TCP as mouthwash to fight infection. Hope you feel better soon

Glands can stay up for a long time after infection. I had a lump in my groin when I had shingles, it was still there 2 years later but it did go down eventually.

it's not got any worse or any better . no bigger. I went back to dentist...who funnily enough am not scared off. He said he thought it had gone down..but i think not..it's the same.
I've also had a horrible episode of infected sinuses back in August that took 3 weeks to get rid of and I seem more open for colds and sore throats since then.
The doctor gave me antibiotics back in August as throat was bit inflamed as well. he also asked if i had my tonsilis out. i haven't..he said they have probably disolved then!!
Thats weird..didn't know that could happened.
