Hi

DD has been complaining that her stomach hurts since getting up this morning. At first i thought it was imaginary, as I have been away for a few days, but decided to keep her off nursery anyway. She has just had a little bit off a poo in her pyjamas, so now i am thinking she perhaps has a stomach bug. Anything i can do to help her with the pain/recover from the bug?

She has had a rich tea biscuit this morning and sips of water.

Thanks.

ds has had this, with a temperature.
day 1 - slight temp and grumpiness.
day 2 high temp, pain in tum and feeling very bad. ibuprofen and lying on sofa. small walk in afternoon. diahorrea in evening.
day 3 cheerful, up and out but not eating much. runny poo.
day 4 (today) recovered but still not that hungry. no poo yet.

Had forgotten about BRAT - good idea thanks Belgiun Bun, and thanks for the likely timetable of event fishie glad your DS is on the mend.
Poor DD has just vomited all over sofa and living room floor and now seems a bit better, saying her stomach doesn't hurt anymore. So have made her a bed on the sofa (with strategic towels everywhere) and a bucket by her side.
Good job my morning sickness isn't too bad as I am 9 weeks PG .
Can anyone tell me how to get the smell of sick off a fabric sofa? Seemed to remember something about bicarb of soda, so have wiped with a solution of that.

Bicarbonate of soda!

get a tub - dump on wet stain - if it is dry dampen the sofa - then tip a pile onto it and leave for a while, then hoover the bicarb up

Sorry just saw you had thought of it - im not sure a solution would work - as it absorbs the smell in the soda so if it is still there try the above

hope your DD is feeling better and congrats on your PGCY
