DD has woken me up (we co-sleep) with the scratching. She's rubbing her hands together or rubbing her hands on her pyjamas and muttering 'ow mummy'.

I've got up with her as neither of us are sleeping and her hands are red raw from it. I've washed them and put sudocrem on (only thing in the cupboard that's suitable) and she's calmed down lots but still rubbing her hands together every few minutes or so.

Is is eczema perhaps? I have eczema but she's never been troubled. Doesn't even get nappy rash.

No new soaps/soap powder/food stuffs etc.

Redness gone out of them and she isn't itching but they're very, very dry.

Allergy or maybe the start of hand foot and mouth? Look out for blisters.

Poor you. Hope she crashes later and you can snooze.

No blisters, mouth and feet fine, no temperature. And I don't think hand foot and mouth should be itchy in that way.

Who knows? M crash? Snooze? I understand you not. I've just eaten chocolate.

Thanks for replying though.
