I've got what feels like a thick coating over my tongue and teeth <yuk>

It feels like when you wake up in the morning after a curry and a few pints (but not odourous)

It's unpleasant

Thought it might be oral thrush (had a sickness bug 5 days ago) but have Googled and it doesn't fit

What can I do?

Tongue coating can be sign of all sorts of things. Quick google search brought up this. Not suggesting you have IBS just giving an example. I would have thought could well be to do with stomach bug you have just had. Get well soon!

are you dehydrated? Lots of fluids. Sickness might have started dehydration.

I get something like this when dehydrated and lacking in sleep (also after strong black/green tea and green bananas).

Thanks for replies

ei you can't actually see the coating... there is nothing to scrape off. Just feels like there is a coating IYKWIM. Leaves me feeling like I'm thirsty and need to drink

Don't think I'm dehydrated

However, it is a bit better today. I bought some antiseptic mouthwash which has left my tongue feeling like it's been rinsed with paintstripper... if it's the same tomorrow I'll try and get a dentist appt
