Medicine dispencing dummies - anyone tried them?

Well not personally tried them but used them with your little one? Are they any good?

Giving my DD (9mths) medicine is like a wrestling match and I could really do with a miricle fix!

Thank you

Haven't tried them but have you tried the syringes you get with neurofen for children (incidentally DD will drink neurofen orange but refuses calpol and everything else medicated entirely).

However I have to say, at that age, if they know they are winding you up making taking medicine difficult, they will really do it more. If you can be very quiet and nonchalant things might improve.

I was wondering about these too! ds4 is 6 months, doesn't object to medicine but has problems keeping it in his mouth! I wondered if the sucking action might be a help.

I have one and it was great, wish I had it months ago. Not much use now they are 17mo, they happily slurp from a spoon. But when they were younger it was sooooooo much easier than a syringe.

But then my two have always loved their dummies so maybe that makes it easier.

with mine, it only worked with one.

altho, only one loved his dummy that much!

none of my dc would put up with a dummy, but two out of the three were great with the meds dispenser one
It put the medicine just where they couldn't spit it

Just bought one on ebay from here. Figured you can't go wrong for 99p!
