I had the best dentist ever in Richmond

MaryAnnSingleton · 05/11/2008 18:04

Nirmal S Rana - Ark Dental Practice,Richmond,Surrey...

Blinglovin · 05/11/2008 18:04

We'll travel for "the best dentist ever"...? spill please.

DP likes to think he's going to "the best". Although sadly, the previous "best" hasn't worked out so well....

let me know if you go !

Blinglovin · 06/11/2008 10:39

DP has both Richmond and Arthur Road numbers and is apparently making an appointment for today. I think he'll go to whichever one can fit him in. He's desperate.

oh,best of luck...would be curious to hear if he sees Mr Rana...I am off to my new dentist here tomorrow with a broken filling !

Blinglovin · 06/11/2008 10:57

Of course, I have not heard from him... which makes me wonder if he chickened out and didn't phone them.

Which would make me very as the nighttime whining is reaching epic proportions....

tell him that he will thank me forever if he sees Mr Rana ! I have sent nervous types there and he is wonderful - even my root canal was a breeze

Blinglovin · 06/11/2008 11:37

He just texted to say the earlsfield one could fit him in. So, if you don't mind, I won't tell him!

I think he would have preferred that, but timing is everything. But I'll keep your person in mind as I need to see a dentist for the first time in 10 years. So someone good will be helpful. Thanks!

Blinglovin · 06/11/2008 23:12

He's madly in love with his new dentist. . He thinks she's fantastic.

Thanks for your help Mary. It looks like earlsfield it is though! He has root canal happening next week though so who knows....

no,only a bit broken off a filling...not too horribly expensive !!

Blinglovin · 07/11/2008 14:14

my word, it is expensive isn't it? We have the supposedly "diamond" package through work which they recommend for people in london. hahahaha, they'll pay for less than half of what his root canal is going to cost!

yikes ! I dread it when the day comes for me to have a crown or something - Mr Rana used to tell me that I'd need one or two someday...new dentist here is pretty good at patching up the remains of my poor teeth !!

Blinglovin · 07/11/2008 15:28

DP rang - he's in agonising pain and on his way home.

I'm actually feeling pretty sympathetic. I've told him to get that strong mouthwash stuff and take some more codeine and paracetomal. Maybe I should give him some nurofen too when I get home!?

OP posts:
Blinglovin · 07/11/2008 15:28

Maybe I can also try getting him drunk!?

I did have "plans" for this weekend though.... but I guess not!

oops. Sorry. Possibly inappropriate - I was on the gardener thread so my mind was near the gutter!
