The cost of emergency buttons for the elderly.

My Mother is getting worried that as she lives alone and her health isn't as good, she should consider one of those buttons that you wear and you press if anything happens and you can't get to a phone.

I haven't found a website that gives you any indication of cost.You almost have to have a demonstration before they give you the info.

Does anyone know of have any experience of these products?

ring social services cos they can maybe provide one free of charge depending on circumstances or at least may know where to get one for a decent price.
