Can i have a smear test if i have thrush?

Im due to have a smear test on wednesday because of abnormal bleeding and blood stained discharge, but over the weekend i have noticed that i have thrush, can i still have the test or will it mask or cover any possible cause of the bleeding.

I had thrush when I got my first smear. As long as you let them know that you are suffering from it at the moment it should be ok.

Hope you find out what causing the bleeding etc to put your mind at rest.

have you tried taking a one off pill from the chemist to get rid of thrush. Its costs about £12, but clears it up really quickly.
