Has anyone ever had them removed? If so, how, did it hurt and did they come back? I have hundreds of the things, mostly on my neck and as I age (ahem) I'm starting to feel like a warty old woman. I had them frozen once at the Wart clinic, but hardly any of them fell off, so am considering paying to have them removed by laser. But it's bloody expensive, so would like to talk to someone with experience.
TIA (think I'll post this in Beauty too)

I had three removed - by DH!

Fishing line, tied round them, you have to get someone else to do it. You have to stretch them out with tweezers while they are tied off. Takes about three days.

Works. Doesn't hurt. But you need a non squeamish DH or friend.

I can't go round with twenty bits of fishing line tied onto my neck for three days!. Seriously though - although I've got loads they're mostly tiny, so hard to stretch out iyswim. I have done the self removal think before - used cotton - but only on large ones.

I get lots in pregnancy I just snip them off, sometimes the bleed a little but they don't come back (doesn't hurt either).

So glad you've all recommended GP - Laser clinic was going to cost 100s and I probably wouldn't have done it (not when we're having to turn our heating off at every opportunity!)
Will make appt tomorrow.
