Does anyone know anything about these? I have just been to the docs with itching under the breast and in the bottom. I do a lot of sweaty exercise and wondered if this would exacerbate the problem. She has given me some cream to use for a week only and suggested using vaseline as a protective barrier in future. Have been looking on line at candida and wondered if I might have an internal problem causing this too?

I had a problem round my caesarean scar, but it cleared up with the cream from the doctor. I have had it under my breasts in the past, but not for many years. I do suffer from thrush once or twice a year, but I don't know if it is relevant, I think it is probably just the moisture in that area, I have never had it suggested to use vaseline so can't help you on that one. My GP did say using a tea tree oil based shower gel could be helpful.

Thanks. I have also got myself an anti fungal pill from the chemist to help clear my whole system. I am also prone to thrush. Think I will get some shower gel too like you suggested.

Lamisil - from the chemists will clear it in a week

Coochy, I used a strong anti-dandruff shampoo and it cleared it (Nizoral - use every 2 days for a week, lather over hair and body leave for 5 mins before rinsing). I find its a combination of sweaty exercise and showering too often because of sweaty exercise.

Thanks Leo.The doc didnt seem interested in discussing prevention etc so all tips greatfully received.
