my ds1 had similar, though the pain was on and off for a couple of weeks, got very bad one night to the point that he was crying with the pain and we took him to the hospital and mesenteric andiniitis (sp?) was diagnosed - swollen glands inside the stomach.

I would have her checked

How long has this been going on for? Are wees and poos all normal?

My ds complained of a tummy ache on and off for 2-3 days. It turned out to be an early symptom of chicken pox!

she had chicken pox already. its been going on for about 2 weeks. she had one night where she was really crying and had a fever so i kept her home the next day and it got better. she has been having more poos and the night she was crying she had runny poo.

barking - what happens when you have swollen glands inside the stomach?

My ds gets swollen glands in his stomach. Best treated with Calpol and a hot water bottle. Not much else you can do. Can be acute and v. painful. I would get your dd checked out to ensure it is nothing more sinister. Some children are just prone to swollen glands in the stomach: my ds had a bout recently as a reaction to his mmr pre-school booster.
