The 2ww scheme was set up to deal with suspected cancers. Very occasionally other non-cancerous conditions can be referred urgently via this pathway.

Even though this clinic is meant to deal solely with suspected cancers, the proportion which turn out to actually be cancerous is still fairly small.

hi, he has a weird black thing on his heel on the sole of his foot.
it is round black and sort of has a hole in it.
ive been nagging him to go to the drs, but he kept saying oh it will go away on its own.
atm it is painful for him to walk on but it goes through a cycle of
scabing over then it dosnt hurt as much then the scab fall off then it hurts again.
i'd say its about 8mm wide

he said to the gp, oh i think ive got a verucca, doesnt look like a vercucca as the whole thing not just the middle is black, the gp said ive seen many many vercuccas none that look like that.
dh said well is it a splinter or something in it?
gp say it would probably be pussy if it had anything in it.
it is not inflammed pussing or smelly

i'm waiting for the hospital to call me back with an ppointment right now.
