Look in her mouth socci. if its measles she'll have koplik's spots- like little white grains of salt with an outer red bit on the inside of her cheeks- a few days before the rash. It's diagnostic for measles.

Both ds and my neighbour's baby have this - fluctuating temperature, runny eye, red cheeks, clingy. Yup, it's going around!
The doctor's opinion is that it's a random virus to be treated with fluids and Calpol, as usual.

There's a virus doing the rounds atm that causes runny eyes. Ds1 had it during half-term. It didn't cause a rash or spots though.
