If you have an nhs dentist they have three bands of charges. Crowns fall in the 2nd band and will cost just under £200 I think. I also believe this is per block of treatment too so if you needed say 2 crowns the charge will be the same.

£198 - I know as I have just had mine done last week.

But as kiddiz says - you can get two for the price of one like I did. One check up, one clean, two crowns.

Dentist is NHS. Think if it is a private dentist you are looking at around £400/500?

About £600 private, including X-Rays and appt fee etc. I know because... ouch.. oooh... ahhh... I've got to have one and have just been given the bill in advance. Bloody hell.
