Have PCOS and have been bleeding for 8 weeks on and off anyway I now have a true pd which is killing me. Cannot stay upright as the pain is terrible and someone has turned a tap on (sorry if TMI). My house is a tip and my dogs need a good walk, someone tell me to get a grip and get on with it. PLEASE!!!!!!!!

no slaps singy...how about a cuppa and some choc instead....the house can wait x

ledodgy · 30/09/2008 12:22

I won't slap you. You need to rest imo. Can you ring a friend/ neighbour and ask them to take the dogs out for you or wait till your dh is home? sounds like you need some tlc rather than a slap!

Get yourself to the GP or gynae if you can.It sounds awful. Are you getting help with the practicle stuff?

Tena Lady maxi pads are very absorbent. AF arrives and I bleed like a harpooned whale so I have some experience of heavy flows

singyswife · 30/09/2008 12:25

lol at harpooned whale. I am not the type of person to lie down to things but this has really floored me. Have been to gp and gynie several times and aparently this is 'just me'. I am just feeling sorry for myself as seem to be really struggling with this af.

But you've acheived something. You have walked the mutts

Sometimes my AF makes me feel really pathetically weak. Not looking forwards to the next one as I'm having my coil changed before it arrives. I bet it sends me off kilter

singyswife · 30/09/2008 20:39

The gp suggested I get a coil fitted but I heard it makes you gain weight and I am already a lot over weight. Might consider it though if my af continues on this path.

A copper coil should have no effect on your weight. Maybe it's the Mirena one which has a hormonal e;ement to it

singyswife · 30/09/2008 21:16

Yeah it was the mirena one they were on about. I have to do something, this is getting worse.
