Not many and it's easier to cut down on chocolate IMVHO.

Sidge · 28/09/2008 14:06

Not enough to make the pain worthwhile I reckon.

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:06

Yes but cutting down on chocolate does not give you toned thighs and an arse like rock

elmoandella · 28/09/2008 14:08

326

bellavita · 28/09/2008 14:15

I would say close to around 650

theinsider · 28/09/2008 14:15

Is an arse like rock important after the age of about 18?

What are you going to be doing with it, cutting diamonds?

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:18

The prize goes to Bellavita - it was 590.

I was impressed anyway!

How do you know? How is it measured?

I'd say less than one might imagine. No more than 250.

250 - its my final answer.

IllegallyBrunette · 28/09/2008 14:19

Bloody hell. Do you actually enjoyn it though and is it suitable for someone who doesn't normally esercise ?

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:19

I wore a heart monitor and it calcualated calories burnt.

theinsider · 28/09/2008 14:20

590 in only 40 mins, that is good. Well done.

eekamoose · 28/09/2008 14:20

Yikes!!!

Its a lot like hard work though isn't it? Is it the one where you're on stationery bicycles all the time?

I guess you have to be pretty fit to start off with.

bellavita · 28/09/2008 14:20

DrNortherner, I must fess up - I used to spin myself.

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:20

Yes I do enjoy it, but it is bloody hard work.

If yuo don't exercise already I would recommend something else first.

spinning classes are wonderful. not as brillinat as ther eal thing, but when you cant go out for a long all day bike ride, they are the next best thing.
fabulous

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:32

I think I have the biu stitch - I hated them at first, now I do 3/4 classes a week and feel terrible if I have to miss one...

DrNortherner · 28/09/2008 14:33
