HI, had vary bad abdo pain in right side parallel with navel. Much worse when lying down. Went to A&E who gave me a thorough check out, and feel it is UTI. Have a three day course antibiotics.

has anyone else had this type of pain and if so how long did it take to get better. Still knacking this morning.

Did they check for appendicitis? Sounds v painful

btw I never had a UTI that hurt there

They suggested kidney stones, i have googled and think that's much more likelY as don't drink enough and tend to be dehydrated. However blood and urine tests suggest UTI.

Ah. That sounds sore, I am sorry you're having such a rough time. I heard that kidney stones are worse than childbirth so does that sound about right?

this might sound stupid but even paracetamol takes the edge of it. Much more severe when lying down.
