dad went in for op today, he's still waiting

does anyone know if there is a cut off time for operations? or will they send him home again.

it's usually around 4-5PM cutoff time.

Oh I hope they dont too. This happened to me last year - got all mentally prepared for the op, was starved all day then sent home at 6pm. Had to return the following week.

poor you platty i just wish we knew what was happening.

they cancelled the op and he's gone home on his own, he didn't call us to get him.

poor dad this is the second time it's been cancelled and he's 78 and had nothing to eat since last night. am fuming.
