Will be taking 2mg diazepam but think I may need to take paracetamol or preferably ibruprofen as well. Is this safe or will it make one act more strongly or anything?

I'm pretty sure they are both fine to take with diazepan but if you are concerned ask your pharmacist or call NHS direst

thanks dusty. will try and check with a pharmacy in the morning.

If you normally take them without a problem then you can take either with diazepam - just make sure you don't exceed the dose of either.

mankymolars · 22/09/2008 20:33

thanks drgeorge,am usually fine with either, just the diazepam that's relatively new! - are you a "real" doctor?

Fine to take together-just as DrG says, stick to stated dosage

mankymolars · 22/09/2008 20:46

thank you. I thought I might have to choose between no nerves or no pain! Hopefully, I'll have neither!

I take all 3 regularly (for bad back)

It's fine for me - but don't take them before you have to drive or operate an iron or anything, they can make you clumsy/sleepy

notnowbernard · 22/09/2008 20:52

It's fine

Racers · 22/09/2008 21:01

Agreed - fine within dosage. Dental work recently, was recommended to take both in advance.

emma1977 · 22/09/2008 21:34

Yes, its fine.
