V. Embarassing Question but......does anybody else leak water after a bath ??

When I get out of the bath I sometimes leak water out of my erm ..... lady bits
The other night for example, I got into my pyjamas and all of a sudden I felt wet and I had literally soaked through my bottoms ( sorry if TMI )
Just wondered if this is only happening to me or if somebody else out there suffers from this type of leakage ???!!

hand up here too

I have to wear a panty liner (hate that phrase) after a bath now to catch it!

undercovercat · 19/09/2008 17:39

Yes.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 19/09/2008 17:41

Yep, me too since having dc's.

So glad it's not just me.

undercovercat · 19/09/2008 17:42

Bucket fadge.
My x said it was no different after too. And he came back for more after we had split up.
I am foolishly taking that to mean it was worth poking about in.

pushchair · 19/09/2008 17:47

psycho" hand up here too"! That read strangely after all other posts.
Me too but seems to have stopped last few years. Also used to leak after sex for ages. Obviously hidden cave problem.
On related embarrasing theme does anyones bits make little slapping noises sometimes. Mine do especialy going up and down stairs.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 19/09/2008 17:50

pmsl.

My aunt told me to work my thighs like bellows once I stood up in the bath.

undercovercat · 19/09/2008 17:51

Slapping noises??!!!! ROFL NO

Anna8888 · 19/09/2008 17:52

Yes, since giving birth.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 19/09/2008 17:54

I wonder if this will make it onto the newletters topic of the week

pushchair · 19/09/2008 17:58

Lol at working the thighs!

sockmonkey · 19/09/2008 18:05

Thank goodness it's not just me then. Love these threads that make me feel a bit more...normal

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 19/09/2008 18:09

No, but am LOL. Sorry!

Szyslak · 19/09/2008 18:18

Intersting that sthis seems to be a very common experience and yet I've never heard it mentioned ever before.

Well done Funkybump for being the first to admit.

So, while we're sharing...since giving birth I've also noticed my fanjo retains rather alot of air, which periodically escapes, not fannyfartesque, but more like damp popping sensation.

Am I alone in this?

fannyfartesque is not a word which gets used alot

Claire236 · 19/09/2008 20:00

I'm so happy. I thought I was the only one who leaked after a bath. What a relief

meglet · 19/09/2008 21:23

yes. And only had cs, so it's not always to do with giving birth. I don't have any other leaks .

Heated · 19/09/2008 21:36

Lol at 'hidden cave' Wonder what the echo is like?

mawbroon · 19/09/2008 22:04

I have been on MN far too long! I remember this from a thread years and years ago.

It is your pouch of douglas

HTH

blueshoes · 19/09/2008 23:12

No. But I have only had cs.

Ah the mysteries of the fanjo orchastra.

You can gush, dribble and emit air tunefully.

Something for Olympics 2012 perhaps?

skyatnight · 19/09/2008 23:35

Mawbroon - I remember this thread from before too. Mumsnet, the font of all knowledge about unmentionables.

nailpolish · 20/09/2008 09:38

but the pouch of douglas has no route to the outside, so how can bathwater get in or out??

does it?

Bumperlicious · 20/09/2008 09:41

Yes, even before DD

Echo! (echo-co-co-o-o-o)

mawbroon · 20/09/2008 17:00
