I have had two of the weirdest night's sleep, you know feverish, and LONG.

cough splutter, blows nose.

I havent a cold for ages.

poor you - rotten inventions are colds
have a sore throat and cough, feel a bit woozy but I dont care as long as it doesnt block my nose!

Hope you feel better soon - probably a bit early in the day for a hot toddy!

I may have cuaght it form a very good friend of mine, i think she had hers about a week and a half.

its's def in my chest, and feels hot there too.

kitten, me too, 2 days that it sorry for the gloom. !! We should check back in, with positive moments, like ooh headache cleared, or nose unblocked.

right i am off to buy more loo roll in, and maybe some sort of cold tablet. tho they aren't meant to be that effective are they?.

Am relying on extra strength paracetamol, and ibuprophen atm, but i can't tell if i't releiving the symptoms.

I usually end up taking a combo of sudafed and otrivine - I'm such a nose wuss!
d'ya reckon its too early for whiskey yet?!
one positive note - I reckon coughs might be good for tummy toning?

oh, me too! Can't sleep at night, wake up feverish with raw sore throat, chest all burning and wheezy, nose blocked, sinuses hurt, feel all woozy, keep being sick because coughing so much... Bleargh! Horrid!

Well last night was night 3 of fever/cough/sweat.

I can barely get up this morning let alone get out the door to school.

pray dd doesn't get it as bad

Horrid cold too, plus DS 2 up in the night with earache, sp he ain't going to school.

And it's my day off today.

off to do School run - DS1 still has to go.

Had one of those peculiar fluey nights and every time dd turned over in bed (in the next room1) I'd jump up convinced there was something wrong. My poor dh!

I have been doing 'poorly cleaning' whereby one leans on the kitchen worktop to polish the taps

lol at poorly cleaning.
I was brave stupid and attempted to cut the hedge with the shears. Neighbours found me sprawled across the top of the hedge saying 'oh I can't be bothered' Then I coughed, the step ladder wobbled very alarmingly so I gave up.

Good news for me is no temp today and that makes such a difference.
Bad news is must be affecting my ears cos the world keeps doing mad dashy spins. But that could be a bonus - tis like a free rollercoaster trip Spent good part of night coughing but dh is lovely and doesnt hate me yet.

my face looks like i have had a chemical peel, and i think i have aged ten yrs over the last week.

you are having it pretty rough.
