Would it be safe to use a grobag whilst dd2 has temperature

Dd2's temperature has been up and down all day mainly over 37.8 with her teething and full of cold, would it be safe to put her in a summer grobag with a tog of 0.5 with a thin babygro and no vest? She won't go to sleep in just a nappy and I still want her to get used to a grobag

I'm sure it will be fine. After all, you'd put her under a blanket normally, wouldn't you? I have always put ds in a grobag even if he's been off colour and he's always been fine. Actually - bad mother alert - it never occurred to me that he wouldn't be!

I suppose it depends how high a temperature and how warm she would get in the grobag. I personally would only dress mine in a t.shirt and nappy and cover with a very light sheet. I am just a little paranoid about them having a febrile fit thru getting too hot so i always try to keep them as cool as possible.
Hope she's better soon

dd2 has gone to bed happily in her babygro and grobag, the material is very very light and just like a cotton sheet so she shouldn't get too hot.

Lets see how many times she wakes up tonight though. I had a grand total of 30 minutes sleep last night and my eyes are like P* Holes in the snow
