Does having an orgasm relieve PMS?

I totally do not feel like making love when I've got PMS, but right now my back is absolutely killing me, and I'm wondering whether it's worth stopping the nurofen tonight, cracking open a bottle of wine after the children have gone to bed tonight and inviting dh to do his best!
