5yo DD2 was so brave and laughing, even when we went down to the Pre-Med room and my stomach was churning - She was giggling with the anaesthetist and the nurses.

Came upstairs at 4.15pm (1 1/2 hours later) and spent the next 6 hours sleeping, staring, and being sick.

I have had NO sleep at all - was expecting DD2 to be unsettled but no - she slept peacefully from 11pm to 3am then wanted a wee and a drink. Back to sleep around 3.30am then slept through to 7am. The reason why I was disturbed was a woman in the room opposite was screaming and shouting at the nurse all night, also a noise which kicked in every 15 minutes for 5 minutes kept me awake!

Absolutely knackered, delighted and relieved that DD2 is OK
