I've tried Overx and its not made a blind bit of difference.

I think I may have a pile(s) inside. How would I know for sure?

Its driving me mad, itch itch itch day and night.

If it is a pile what could help soothe it?

anusol, lanancane?

likessleep · 05/09/2008 09:08

anusol really works.
suppositories are rank to do, but it makes sure you get the right 'dose' and it really helps (use a bit of clingfilm around a finger).
have you had any bright red spots of blood when you've go to the loo?
also, having piles can feel like you need a poo, when you don't.

It is not uncommon to be allergic to soap etc (in that particular area).

You could try using soap-free products to wash?

If you wash your hair in the shower, stand with your head bent forward rather than tipped back, so that the shampoo doesn't run between your "cheeks" IYSWIM. Shampoo residue can be very irritating too.
