Anyone interested in doing the Aspire channel swim with me?

information here Basically you swim the distance of the channel in your local pool over 12 weeks (15 Sept - 7 Dec) and raise money for people with spinal injuries.

I haven't registered yet as I'm trying to find a way to do it. Our local public pools shut at 7pm most nights and I need to swim later than that. I reckon I'll need to go about 3 times a week to get the required number of weekly lengths in.

However, if I can join a swimming club or find an affordable gym to join I will do it.

Wondered if anyone else was up for it or into providing mutual encouragement......

possibly

i am a commitment phobe tho

but i could manage the lengths

but i wouldnt know anyone to raise money from so might be a bit pointless

I don't think I'll raise that much. It will just make me do the lengths.
