Depends on what you put in the 175 ml glass and whether or not you fill it to the brim

Check the bottle! Lots of wines especially the supermarket ones, tell you how many units in the bottle or per glass. Usually about 6 glasses per bottle, and about 1.5 units per glass so 10 per bottle approx. Yes, I too am trying to stick to the guidelines!

My bad adding up made it 6 x 1.5 = 10 but actually it should be 9 I think! Apologies - that means you are actually allowed a bit more than you think tho!!

I can't stop at one glass!
seemed easer just to completely cut out rather than attempt to cut down

A bottle of wine is about 10 units these days, so 1.5-2 bottles a week is going to be within safe limits. Know what you mean about stopping after just one glass!
