Does anytime else sweat when they eat chocolate/cakes?

Until 2 years ago, I genuinely thought that everyone broke into a sweat when they ate large amounts of chocolate - like a whole slice of chocolate cake or several kitkats.

Then I discovered it's just me? Or is there anyone else out there?

My ears also pop.

Maybe I'm allergic to life's best thing.

I break out into a sweat if there is vinegar nearby yet still eat it as I love the taste.
It leaves me feeling spaced out for about an hour.
But, awwww chocolate! Some things are just not fair lingle.

My dad sneezes when he eats chocolate.

My grandad did too.

Strangely my mum has noticed it makes her sneeze now too!

Have you been tested for diabetes?

Evenstar · 21/08/2008 23:55

My DH was diabetic and used to break into a sweat whenever he ate very sweet things, you should probably go to your GP and have it checked out.

Just called the doctor (wow my surgery is efficient today).

She said the sweat you get in diabetes is completely different and I have an intolerance but if I keep eating chocolate it probably won't get worse

JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and sweat, and spots).

[runs down to Tescos to get some kitkats to celebrate).
