DD has first ever cold. She's in good spirits and eating well but very snotty. Already using Sterimar saline spray and a nasal aspirator to suck out the mucus during the day and Karvol plug-in, raised mattress and Medised at night. Great Ormond Street book suggests using a decongestant spray - any ideas on which ones are good/safe to use on her for a few days?

Have you been to the GP's? We got given some decongestant drops for dd on prescription (not available over the counter).

Haven't been to doc's yet as cold only started yesterday morning and didn't think it warranted a trip to the G.P. but maybe I should go - anything to make her more comfortable...
