Has anyone cleared up thrush in their nipple without conventional medical treatment?

if so please tell me how? I am not sure if I have it, even. Have googled and it looks bad either way - conventional treatments not exactly recommended for health of baby, and self help treatments seem to be very onerous and involve boiling everything and giving up sugar. And then you seem to get it back again anyway.

Am feeling a bit despondent about it so any help appreciated.

someone told me on here about gentian violet (i think), its in BF topic, will try to find link.

FWIW i had thrush too, and took flucanazole - it went, just like that.

You can use a vineger solution too.

thanks - don't know anything about gentian violet

what do you do with the vinegar solution?

did you not have treatment for your baby, also, to prevent it passing back and forth between you?

we had and used the lot - nystatin, canesten, daktarin - it finally went after daktarin and fluc.

My link shows you how to do vinegar and violet; save me retyping, lol.

Hope you are ok, it hurts, alot.
